14 May, 2008 USD 3.8 Billion Lawsuit against VimpelCom Shareholders Rescheduled
(Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia - 12 May 2008) On Monday the Khanty-Mansiysk District Arbitration Court in Siberia, Russia, rescheduled the preliminary hearing of the lawsuit filed by Farimex Products against VimpelCom shareholders Norwegian Telenor and Russian Alfa Group's Altimo. Judge Evgeny Karankevich found that not all parties in the lawsuit had been properly notified and rescheduled the hearing to 10 June.
13 May, 2008 DTAC reaches regulatory milestone in Thailand
(13 May, 2008) The Administrative Court of Thailand has ordered the state-owned fixed line operator TOT to negotiate an interconnection agreement with DTAC. This is the fourth consecutive ruling in favour of DTAC on this matter, and it cannot be appealed.

8 May, 2008 Telenor acquires license for 4G spectrum in Sweden
(Stockholm 8 May 2008) The Swedish Post and Telecommunications Authority today concluded the auction of spectrum in the 2.6 GHz band, regarded as key to the next generation of mobile technology. Telenor Sweden was awarded a license for 2x 20 MHz in the auction, granting Telenor substantial opportunities to provide 4G services and high-quality mobile broadband.
8 May, 2008 Telenor pushes expansion of Turbo 3G network
(Fornebu, 8 May 2008) Telenor strengthens its mobile broadband offering in Norway through Mobilt Bredbånd. This year, the Turbo 3G network is being expanded to cover all communities with more than 200 inhabitants, equivalent to 86 per cent of the Norwegian population.
